The numbers of closed sales  in Berks County are up sharply 14%. The number of homes currently for sale (inventory) is down 29%, helping the saturated market in demand and price. The overall Average Medium sales price are stable with no further decline within the last year. The market continues to stabilize with Buyers returning to the market indicating the market is in a corrective pattern. Ultimately home prices will recover as well but price trends usually trail the sales trends.

The following areas by Zip Code have seen medium price increase over the past 12 months;

The following Northern Berks Zip Code areas showed strong increases in medium price.

19510 Blandon Area increased 5.8%

19530 Kutztown Area increased 41.4 %

19533 Leesport Area increased 23.4%

19536 Lyons Area increased 23.4%

19541 Mohrsville Area increased 18.00%

The following Southern Berks Zip Code areas showed strong increases in medium price

19543 Morgantown Area increased 7.8%

19607 Shillington/Cumru Area increased 4.3%

19540 Mohnton Area increased 13.9%

Other notables increased were discovered in

19608 Spring Twp Whitfield area 2.5 % increase

19606 Mt Penn/Exeter Area Increased 4.3%

19602 Reading (East Reading) saw an increase of 40%
